Ask A Childbirth Educator Questions and Answer
Q. Is it true that an epidural will give you back problems in the future? >>
A.
While more research needs to be done, there does seem to be a possible
correlation between having epidural anesthesia and future back pain. It is
impossible to tell which women will have this complication beforehand, as
every individual reacts to anesthesia differently.
