Ask A Childbirth Educator Questions and Answer
Q. If I get a headache is it still okay to take Alleve or Ibuprofen?
A.
For the occasional headache it is safer to take acetaminophen. If you want to
take Aleve or Ibuprofen you need to contact your caregiver. There may be some
side effects to you and the baby if you take these medications. Only take them
upon the advice of your caregiver.
