Ask A Childbirth Educator Questions and Answer
Q. I am now 29 weeks and becoming fatigued like I was in the first 3 months.
Are there any tonics I can take to help. I get enough sleep, exercise 5
days a week and eat really healthily so why am I so fatigued.
A.
Try taking a nap in the afternoon. It's normal to go through stages in
pregnancy where you need to lay down halfway through your day or so. Takes a
lot of energy to grow a baby! Laying down or at leats putting your feet up and
dozing off will probably do you much more good than any kind of tonic. Resting
during the day is often what pregnant women neglect the most---and it can make
all the difference in how you feel.
