Ask A Lactation Consultant

Q. Is it normal at 3 1/2 months to leak colostrum?

A. Dear Jen,

I'm assuming you mean 3 and 1/2 months pregnant and yes it can be quite normal to leak colostrum throughout pregnancy. Just to be safe though, mention it to your care provider at your next visit.
