Paulina G. (Polly) Perez, R.N. is a well known perinatal nurse, author, and lecturer. She speaks as a nurse to nurses. Throughout her thirty year nursing career she has been a leader in perinatal care. Her dynamic and energetic speaking style enable audiences to understand complicated topics that will enable them to meet the challenges facing perinatal nurses today.

With the advent of managed care there is an increased emphasis on outcomes management and disease prevention. Preventative medicine and healing arts modalities are becoming cornerstones of practice. Ms. Perez is experienced in helping perinatal nurses adapt to the changes in health care, identify new nursing roles, learn new modalities, and implement new strategies.

Ms. Perez is familiar with non-traditional nursing roles as she has been in private practice in Houston, TX for 16 years. Her entrepreneurial role has been an inspiration for many nurses.
