Casey's Birth

Casey

The birth of my third child was my most memorable. They decided to take
him a few weeks early becaause I had high blood pressure and I had a
history of quick labors. My middle childs labor was 1 hr 20 min. Pretty
scary!. So anyway, I went in early in the morning to be induced. I was
scared of having to have pic. But the Dr. broke my water and gave me a
supository to make me dilate. I was 4 cm when I got to the hospital, so
I think that he would have came on his own in the next couple of days.
My husband and my Birth mother were there with me. I met her when I was
18. I wanted to share this with her because I knew it would be my last. 
Man I was sooo glad she was there. I had the urge to push too soon and
had to fight it off. I don't think my dh would have been able to help me
like she did. She helped me keep me head straight. She is a child birth
educator too, so that helped. I'm just so glad she was there with me, to
help me through it all. Well 5 hours later, Casey came into the world.
With only a sugar level problem. They gave him a little formula, then
things were fine. He's never had another bottle. This letter is just   to
say how happy I was that I could share this with my birth mom. It was a
once in a lifetime experiance. Thanks you. Paula.
