Who We Are

I am the mother of three children. All of my births were unmedicated. Julie was born when I was 20 years old. We used the Lamaze method of childbirth with her. John was born two years later and Jami arrived two years after that. We used the Bradley method to give birth to them. I have been married since 1977 to my awesome support coach, Dallas. My children are all "nearly grown," that enables me to be quite flexible for births now!

I was involved in La Leche League for over a dozen years and was a leader. I began assisting in births in 1992. I have assisted with several since then. I have been a doula for moms ranging in age from 17 to 40.

I have a variety of experience from having attended a mother that had a cesarean and was able to stay with her throughout, to being with a couple at the birth of their 5th child, as well as being involved with families for their 1st and 2nd children within the same family. I have worked with both single moms and couples.

I am currently in the process of my certification with DONA, Doulas of North America.
